The successful candidate will have a lot on their plate when reporting to the Director of Digital Services:
- Leading the delivery of the Cyber Risk Management strategy and Cyber security framework in accordance with best practices.
- leading an internal team to take action to lower cyber risk and increase defense against cyberattacks.
- developing a secure by design culture while collaborating with the Enterprise Architecture team.
- using outside expertise, such as the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), to evaluate, review, and offer advice on best practices.
- As a subject matter expert, I help the larger Digital Services Team and other important stakeholders understand and improve my skills.
- promoting a cybersecurity culture and awareness so that all workers are aware of their responsibilities.
- supporting compliance by collaborating closely with colleagues in information security.

Workdays: 37.5 hours per week.
When you take into account the cost of living in London, that is unquestionably not the most generous salary in the world for a position with that level of responsibility. ( I assume King Charles is n’t offering his extra bedroom. )
