LOGISTICS AGENCY DEFENSE

A maximum of$ 152, 000, 000 firm-fixed price with economic price adjustment, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for food supplies has been given to Valiant Integrated Services LLC, Herndon, Virginia. According to the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302- 1, this was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304 ( c ) ( 1 ). This bridge contract is 251 days long with no option periods. The United Arab Emirates, Oman, Djibouti, and Kenya are the performance centers. The ordering period ends on September 3, 2024. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard are some of the organizations that use customers. Fiscal 2024 defense working capital funds are the type of appropriation. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ( SPE300- 24-D- 4003 ) is the contracting activity.

ARMY

A firm-fixed-price contract for construction services valued at$ 20, 000, 000 was awarded to Lakey Inc., * Lukin, Texas. Through the internet, bids were solicited, and five were accepted. With each order, work locations and funding will be chosen, with an anticipated completion date of December 31, 2028. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas ( W9126G-24-D-0015 ).

A$ 15, 375, 000 firm-fixed-price contract for heavy-duty tank trailers was awarded to DRS Sustainment Systems Inc., Bridgeton, Missouri. One bid was accepted after being solicited online. The project will be carried out in West Plains, Missouri, and it is anticipated to be finished on December 22, 2026. At the time of the award,$ 15, 375, 000 in Fiscal 2024 Foreign Military Sales ( Israel ) funds were owed. THE AIR FORCE

For base operating support services, Criterion Corp., Marquette, Michigan, was given a contract for an emergency bridge extension that was not to exceed$ 12, 000, 000 firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable. This extension contract offers base operating support services in support of functions related to supply management, vehicle maintenance, traffic control, real estate upkeep, fuel and airfield management. By December 31, 2024, the work will be finished at March Air Reserve Base in California. The only source acquisition was this contract. At the time of award,$ 5, 200, 000 in operation and maintenance funds for Fiscal 2024 are required. The contracting activity ( FA4664-20-C-0008-P00030 ) is the 452nd Mission Support Group Contracting Office located in March Air Reserve Base, California.

A contract for a ground support system valued at$ 9, 990, 608 was awarded to Tactical Communications Group (TCG) LLC, Tewksbury, Massachusetts. TCG will be in charge of maintaining and sustaining the previously acquired ground support system ( GSS), which will include buying GSS parts and functional components to improve or increase the functional use of the system. By December 31, 2027, the work will be finished in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Foreign Military Sales ( FMS ) to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are included in this agreement. This agreement was a one-time acquisition. At the time of award, FMS funds in the amounts of$ 4, 516, and 266 are being obligated. The contracting activity is the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at the Aerial Networks Division ( International Programs ) Branch at Hanscom Air Base in Massachusetts.

A$ 9, 109, 277 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for software licenses and life cycle support services was given to L3Harris Technologies Integrated Systems L. P., Greenville, Texas. For 2024, this contract offers support for lifecycle labs, software for the System Integration Laboratory, and licenses and subscriptions for aircraft. By December 31, 2024, the project, which will be carried out in Greenville, Texas, should be finished. It was a sole-source acquisition under this contract. At the time of award, foreign military sales funds in the amount of$ 9, 109, 277 are being obligated. The contracting activity is the 645th Aeronautical Engineering Systems Group, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

A$ 9, 087, 138 contract for the Defense Experimentation Using Commercial Space Internet ( DEUCSI) was awarded to Intelsat General Communications LLC in McLean, Virginia. With a new low size, weight, power, and cost ( SWaP- C ) terminal that easily integrates onto aircraft platforms to provide resilient, high throughput, globally available, highly reliable SATCOM, this contract calls for efforts to develop and experimentally test satellite communications ( Satcom ) systems capable of operating with multiple commercial space internet constellations operating in low, medium- and geostationary earth orbits. The project will be finished in McLean, Virginia, and is anticipated to do so by November 26, 2024. There were 11 offers made for this contract, which was a competitive acquisition. At the time of award,$ 8, 842, 797 in fiscal 2023 research, development, test, and evaluation funds are being obligated.
