ARMY

Three bids were accepted after being solicited online. The project will be carried out in Charleston, South Carolina, and it is anticipated to be finished on August 22, 2024. NAVY

For eight time-chartered, U.S. flagged, and Jones Act compliant tugs to provide harbor support services and ship handling at Norfolk, Virginia, Moran Towing Corp., New Canaan, Connecticut, is awarded a$ 17, 667, 600 firm-fixed-price contract with reimbursable elements. The total value of this contract would be$ 92, 042, 296 if exercised over the course of one firm period of 366 days with three 365-day option periods. If all options are used, the work will be finished in Norfolk, Virginia, by December 2028. $ 12, 175, 299 working capital funds ( Navy ) are obligated for fiscal 2024 and will run out at the end of that year. Prior to October 1, 2024, the remaining$ 5, 492, 302 for fiscal 2025 will be added. This contract was acquired through a competitive process using proposals made via the System Award Management website, and two offers were accepted. A$ 13, 775, 974 cost-plus-fixed-fee order ( N0001924F2602 ) is granted to Bell Textron Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, in response to an earlier-issued basic ordering agreement. This order offers engineering and logistical sustainment efforts in support of the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom helicopters for the Marine Corps and the government of Bahrain, as well as production and sustainability support for both the Czech Republic’s government and peculiar support equipment for domestic and foreign military sales customers.
