On Thursday morning, tens of thousands of U. S. customers from AT&, T-Mobile, and Verizon voiced their displeasure with the lack of wireless service or service interruptions.
It appears that both incoming and outgoing calls, including those to the 911 emergency service, have been impacted.

More than 73, 000 AT&, T customers from various states—including North Carolina, Louisiana, Texas, and Florida—reported a lack of service, according to data from the problem tracking website Downdetector.
Although the 911 center is operational, AT&, T wireless customers are unable to make or receive any phone calls, according to a “cell phone service outage” announcement from the San Francisco Fire Department.
Today, network services provider Cloudflare reports that AT&, T noticed a sizable data loss in traffic ( Mobile IPv6 v4 ) starting at 08:48 UTC, which had an impact on AT+amp’s T subscribers in several U.S. cities ( such as Dallas, Chicago, and Los Angeles ).
According to Cloudflare data, AT&, T ( AS7018 ) traffic in Chicago at 9:00 UTC decreased by up to 45 % compared to the previous week. and 18 % simultaneously in Dallas.
Users of AT&, T in South Carolina, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, and California claim they lack mobile service.
When connected to a WiFi network and with the WiFi calling option enabled, it appears that some users were able to make or receive calls.
The company is “aware of an outage currently impacting our Mobility users and are working to resolve it ASAP,” according to the AT& forum’s banner  thread.
According to an AT&, T representative, some of its customers are being affected by service interruptions this morning, and the business is “working urgently to restore service to them,” according to BleepingComputer.
Wi-Fi calling is encouraged until service is restored, according to AT&, T spokesperson.
According to user reports from other providers, such as Verizon, T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Consumer Cellular, US Mobile, Straight Talk Wireless and FirstNet, Downdetector indicates that other cellular carriers have also had issues over the past 24 hours.
A customer received a response from Verizon stating that everything was fine. Some customers had problems this morning when calling or texting with customers served by another carrier, the company added to BleepingComputer.
According to a Verizon spokesman, the business continues to keep an eye on the circumstance.
T-Mobile responded to BleepingComputer by saying that its network is currently unaffected by outages or other problems and that Downdetector is probably a reflection of the difficulties our customers were having connecting to users on other networks.
At the time of publication, it is still unknown what caused the outages. Users claimed in some cases that they were unable to place calls regardless of the recipient’s network.
