Cybersecurity &amp, Privacy Annual Report, NIST 2022

The newly streamlined and redesigned Special Publication 800-225, Fiscal Year ( FY ) 2022 Cybersecurity and Privacy Annual Report, was released by NIST this week.

The NIST Information Technology Laboratory’s ( ITL ) Cybersecurity and Privacy Program successfully addressed a number of opportunities and challenges related to cybersecurity and privacy in FY 2022. The National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE ) projects, the development of cryptographic standards and guidelines, and the creation of risk management framework projects are all highlighted in this annual report. These projects include ongoing participation in and advancement of international standards, research and practical applications in a number of key priority areas, advancements in software and supply chain cybersecurity. The NCCoE also commemorated its 10-year anniversary of founding, and NIST also honored 50 years of work in the cybersecurity industry.
