Digital Twin Data Interoperability Standards Workshop at CHIPSR
A. Kim, NIST, and Adobe Stock are the creditors.
The NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE ) conference facility in Rockville, Maryland, will host the CHIPS Research and Development Office’s Digital Twin Data Interoperability Standards Workshop on April 4, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p. m Eastern Time, and 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, respectively.  , This hybrid event lasts for one and a half days and gives attendees the chance to network and share ideas.
To determine community priorities for particular standards efforts, technical experts from industry, academia, standards-setting organizations, and industry alliances will gather at this event. The workshop aims to promote innovation, coordination, and collaboration within the standards community for the semiconductor industry.  ,
Predictive decision-making, predictive maintenance, scenario testing, stakeholder collaboration, etc. are made possible by digital twins in manufacturing. The application of a digital twin for manufacturing in the chiplet-packaging module will be the main topic of this workshop’s standards needs.
The role of data interoperability standards for digital twins in the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, as well as the potential for these technologies to propel industry advancement, will be covered by participants.
Potential for broad impact, viability of accelerated development, and suitability for various standards development channels, such as alliances, incubators and accelerators as well as standards-setting organizations, should all be taken into account when determining standards priorities.
Plenary, panel, and interactive breakout sessions will be included in the workshop. Future data interoperability technical standards activities are expected to be shaped by participants ‘ collaboration and discussion of important issues and subjects. The following are just a few of the questions that will be taken into account:
- What benefits do digital twins offer the semiconductor manufacturing industry?
- What information is pertinent to semiconductor manufacturing digital twins?
- What are the main interoperability requirements among those data?
- What criteria are there right now to satisfy those requirements?
- What prerequisites must be met for the necessary interoperability?
Key findings will be included in a post-workshop report, which will also help the CHIPS Office and the semiconductor innovation ecosystem plan standards.
To sign up for the workshop, click the green” Register” tab on the right side of this page. The” Agenda” tab contains the draft agenda, which will be updated as the event draws near.
We strongly encourage organizations that set standards, industry representatives, and interested stakeholders to take part in this important event. We encourage both domestic and international participation because success depends on fostering international cooperation and enhancing discussions about semiconductor standards and innovation.
Join us as we jointly develop semiconductor and microelectronics standards, encourage innovation, and advance the industry at the CHIPS R&, D Digital Twin Data Interoperability Standards Workshop.
The same location will host a related workshop on semiconductor supply chain trust and assurance data standards from April 2 to April 3, 2024. For those who might want to attend both events, information about this related workshop ( separate registration is necessary ) is available on the event website.
