Microsoft’s” Moment 5″ update for versions 23H2 and 22H2 has just been released, launching the rollout of new features like Windows Copilot skills and plugins, Voice Access, AI improvements for ClipChamp and Photos, and Narrator improvements.
For Windows users who have the Windows update’s” Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” option enabled, the Moment 5 update will begin rolling out today.
Users of Windows 11 23H2/22H2 can click the” Check for updates” button to receive a new Windows Configuration update that activates the new features in the operating system once this setting is activated.
As part of Microsoft’s” continuous innovation” strategy, which releases new features as soon as they are ready rather than waited for feature updates to be installed, Windows Configuration updates are used.
Microsoft can release features more quickly throughout the year with this new servicing approach rather than over scheduled patching times.
All Windows 11 23H2/22H2 users will begin receiving the features in the optional March non-security preview update, followed by all users as part of the April 2024 Patch Tuesday security updates, if you choose not to install the update today.
