Currently, Sophos ZTNA is on a firewall.

That’s right! In case you didn’t know, Firewall v20 by Sophos integrates a ZTNA gateway directly into the firewall, making ZTNA deployments easier than ever.

Switching from a remote access VPN to ZTNA is an easy choice. ZTNA offers a much smoother and more dependable end-user experience, better security, and easier management. Customers do n’t need to install anything additional on site to enable secure remote access to systems and applications hosted behind the firewall because Sophos Firewall already includes a ZTNA gateway.

Check out Sophos.com/ZTNA to find out more about it and how it can assist you in securing your applications and remote access. Free trial is simple to use.

Updates to Sophos Central management

The Sophos Central firewall management update from January is now in effect and includes a number of new features and fixes:

For the remote end of route-based VPN tunnels, SD-WAN enhancements enable” *” wildcard characters in any IP address. Ideal for use with remote sites that change dynamic IP addresses frequently or quickly.

Repetitive alert priorities are changed by configurable suppression, which also places restrictions on how frequently repetitive alerts should be raised. Utilize this to block out alert counts in Sophos Central and normally loud alerts to avoid cluttering your inbox.

Automatic firmware rollback detection. Automatic firmware rollback is now supported by SFOS v20 and higher when it detects that an update was not entirely successful. Should firmware rollback events happen, Sophos Central will now detect them and alert you to them.

Additionally, SFOSv20 has undergone additional cosmetic changes to match ATP feature naming changes. Check out the release notes in their entirety.
