Special Operations Command, U. S.

For the continued acquisition of next generation tactical communications radios and associated sustainment and support services as required in support of U.S. Special Operations Command ( USSOCOM), L3Harris Technologies Inc., Rochester, New York, was given a single award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm-fixed-price contract ( H92401-24-D-0001 ) with seven one-year ordering periods. At the time of award, fiscal 2024 procurement funds in the amount of$ 2, 515, and 260 are required. According to the terms of this contract, delivery orders will be paid for with appropriate funding for procurement, operations, maintenance, research, development, testing, and evaluation. According to Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302- 1, this contract was awarded in accordance with the Competition in Contracting Act, which forbids full and open competition. The contracting activity is USSOCOM, located in Florida’s MacDill Air Force Base.

FORCE OF AIR

A$ 48, 750, 000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development was awarded to Applied Research Solutions, Beavercreek, Ohio. In order to effectively apply closed-loop sensing, data processing, and reasoning capabilities to support sensating mission autonomy across the range of military operations, this contract calls for the development of multi-domain, multiplatform, as well as multiple-scale technologies and strategies. By April 2, 2029, work is anticipated to be finished at Beavercreek, Ohio, with base support at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Five offers were made in a competitive acquisition of this contract. At the time of award,$ 415, 000 in fiscal 2020 research, development, test, and evaluation funds are required.
